Honor, the Huawei sub-brand, has a habit of launching
new phones in its native China before anywhere else. We expect the event will be used to finally launch the View 30 Pro and 9X Pro globally.
When is the View 30 launch?
Nothing has changed time-wise with Honor’s event, so it will take place on 24 February at 17:30 GMT.
How do I watch the View 30 live stream?
We’ve embedded the live stream above, so it’s nice and easy to find. Just come back here closer to the time of the event to tune in.
What to expect
We’re not expecting any surprises at the event, which will act as a global launch for Honor’s latest big releases in the form of the View 30 and View 30 Pro. These are the successor’s to 2019’s View 20, which we consider to be the best Honor phone to date. See everything we know about these phones
here.
Sticking with phones, the Honor 9X Pro should also be coming to European markets. The follow-up to last year’s
Honor 9X adds some significant camera upgrades to what was already a very good phone.
However, all these phones are highly unlikely come with Google Play Services, so it will be interesting to see how much that limits its success.
Honor has recently moved into laptops, with the MagicBook launched in China in late 2019, Expect that to receive a global launch too.

Parent company Huawei are also holding an event in Barcelona. Here’s
