There’s no denying that TikTok has taken the world by storm. With over a billion users, the short-form video sharing platform is the veritable epicenter of viral memes that blaze through the internet. Yes, TikTok is why everyone you know was humming a sea shanty earlier this year.
But if you’ve grown weary of TikTok’s frenetic energy and want to leave, here’s how you can delete your account.
Keep in mind, while the process itself only takes a few seconds, your account will stay deactivated for 30 days before it is permanently deleted. When your account is deactivated, it won’t be visible to anyone.
Also note, there isn’t a direct way to delete TikTok from your PC, but you can use an
Android emulator.
Let’s get started.
1. Tap the “Me” icon to go to your profile.
2. Tap the three dots in the top right corner.
3. Tap “Manage account” at the top of the list.

4. Tap “Delete account” at the bottom of the list
5. Click “Continue”
Be sure to read through the conditions before hitting Continue. You will be parting with all your existing videos and you won’t be able to get a refund on anything you’ve bought.
