  1. Thank you for sharing… You sure are a GREAT teacher…♫

  2. These are great tips, Colin, thank you! I’m also enjoying your Layer Class. Excellent.

  3. Bring on Part II! You’re an excellent resource!

  4. These are excellent tips applicable to everyday use of Photoshop.
    Thanks. Yes, keep them coming!

  5. Hi Colin. Yes I know all 10 tips and have used them before. My favorites are:
    1) The “Composite Layer” tip. I use this on a daily basis.
    2) Add a Group and a Group Mask to a single file to achieve intersecting effects with the layer
mask and the Group Mask. Even add a second Group and Mask for 3 intersecting effects. I use this trick
    frequently.

Yes do another Video with more tips – but don’t bother with Text stuff, I never employ Texts in my images.
Please show lighting effects tricks with layers, overlays and mask gradients and mask curves. Also especially
like Adobe Bridge applications; I never use Lightroom anymore.

  6. Thanks Colin. My needs are pretty simple, and with PS Elements not all functions were available but there were enough usable nuggets in there to make it valuable. Nice concise style, too.

  7. Thanks Colin, almost every one new to me, keep those tips coming.

  9. Some great tips!! I found the ones on dodging and burning as well as being able to edit multiple text layers at the same time especially helpful.

  10. Great tips, Colin! I was familiar with perhaps half of the tips, but it’s always good to be reminded of them, and then put them to use. The other tips were new gems for me. Looking forward to more of these! Thanks for sharing.

  11. You are the first Photoshop instructor to show #9 which my Brooks instructor told me years ago.
